Valentine's Day on Salt Cay in the Turks & Caicos was very special this year!

Champagne receptions with Greek wedding cookies at Castaway-Salt Cay

There was a wedding at Castaway-Salt Cay on Salt Cay's pristine North Beach.  The ceremony was a combination of a Greek and a Jewish marriage traditions presided over by Mrs. Patricia Simmons.  The unique event featured breaking of the traditional wine glass, garlands of flowers for the bride and the groom and a reception following the beach side ceremony at Castaways - Salt Cay for residents and guests a like on Salt Cay.

Valentine's Day Evening brought an Italian style feast at Porter's Island Thyme complete with antipasti, homemade fettuccine, and a myriad of desserts. 

This event was "sold out" in keeping with Island Thyme's tradition that your table is yours for the evening.   Remember you are on Island Thyme!

There were the birthday celebrations:  Mike's, Tim's and Melissa's all celebrated with a special evening out at Porter's.

Not to mention the other weekly activities:  Wednesday:  Wings, Legs and Dogs followed by Texas Hold-em, Thursday:  Lobster Mania and Friday:  Pizza and Saturday:  Bingo

is approaching and on Salt Cay it is a special time.

Lolli received one of the most unique Valentine's Day Gifts ever...a pair of goats.  However these beautiful animals need names, so in keeping with Island Thyme's Traditions we felt it was time for another contest.

Select names for Lolli's goats and if your names are chosen by the judges you will receive a Voucher for dinner for two at Porter's Island Thyme on Salt Cay.

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds: Salt Cay Style

This Thursday night, Porter's Island Thyme Bistro on Salt Cay will be hosting on the Zen Sky deck the viewing of the International Space Station.

Our very own "Space Cadet" on Salt Cay will be hosting the viewing at 7:07 PM.

TOGA Party: SALT CAY STYLE

They came by land, air and sea to Salt Cay for the TOGA Party at Porter's Island Thyme. 

This "Back Door Event" brought big smiles and lots of laughter to Salt Cay.

Special thanks goes out to Mike & Carolynn for bringing the Greek foods.

There was music.

There was singing.

There was dancing.

The young and the young at heart joined in the fun on Salt Cay.

Every type of TOGA was to be seen.

There were smiles and lots of laughter!

There was Karaoke.

Wednesday night  is Texas Hold-em Poker Night at Porter's Island Thyme on Salt Cay after:

Dining somewhere else?  No problem as Poker starts around 8 PM at Porter's Island Thyme in the North District of Salt Cay.

This "Event" is extremely popular with guests and residents alike.

Last night we thought it was going to be standing room only, but it is Island Thyme's Policy that everyone is welcome.   We can always make room for a few more.
